Three Wishes is a holiday classic, performed every other year by the Greater Buffalo Youth Ballet.

Three Wishes tells the story of Suzie, and Chandu the wizard. Chandu disguises himself as a beggar and goes into the streets to collect money for the poor at holiday time. After being rejected by all the rich children in town, Chandu becomes discouraged, until he meets Suzie and her brother Tommy. Suzie’s family is very poor, but she gives Chandu her last penny. Chandu is so touched by her selfless gift, that he grants her three wishes.
