AUDITIONS
All auditions for Greater Buffalo Youth Ballet performances and scholarships are conducted as a class, and are held at the Royal Academy of Ballet and Dance.
Audition Rules
- Please fill out an audition form.*
- Dancers should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to audition time to allow for sign-in and class preparation and bring the $10 audition fee.
- Dancers should come in dance attire, ready to dance.
- Hair should be pulled off the face in a bun or pony tail.
- Dancers on pointe should bring their pointe shoes for the audition.
- Boys are encouraged to audition.
- There is no gum chewing allowed during the audition or in class at any time.

REHEARSALS
- Rehearsals for the Greater Buffalo Youth Ballet are conducted in addition to a dancer’s regularly-scheduled class(es).
- Class rules apply during all rehearsals.
- Dancers selected for performances are expected to attend classes that pertain to their roles.
